Chasing for Cherry Blossom Day 5

Day5: 26th March 2008, Tuesday

After taken the breakfast at onsen hotel, we headed toward Jewelry Forest (this is the unexpected destination because it is not parts of our trip’s plan). I believed the tour guide will get some interest for each sale from the grouped he brings in. I bought few crystal bracelets for my family in which each of them cost 100++ in Malaysia Ringgit. It’s worth the price because the clarity of the crystal remains unchanged until to date.

Destination1: Jewelry Forest [河口湖 宝石の森]
Given time frame: not specified (until you asked for leaving…)

The sales person explained to us how to differentiate real and fake crystal. He mentioned that most people misjudge the clarity of glass and assume that it is crystal. He told us that the crystal will reflected 2 lines if you put a piece of hair under the crystal.

Destination2: Asakusa [浅草]
Given time frame: 2hours

There are many souvenir shops and food stalls line up at left and right along the path to the temple. Of course, 2hours is not enough if you wished to pick some souvenir for your friends and family or you would like to taste the different kinds of foods at each stall.

Destination3: Ginza [銀座]
Given time frame: 30mins – 1hour

Ginza is the most luxurious shopping districts whereby you able to find the latest trend and branded fashions, bags, shoes and so on. Most of the ladies who joined this trip become excited when reached Ginza because they aimed to grab the latest Burberry bag which is limited per day sales. The funniest thing was I thought Burberry is a type of fruits which can be eaten! Ha.. shame on me when the tour guide explained to me that it is the brand name of bag.

Destination4: Odaiba [お台場]
Given time frame: 1hour

Wa….lao….eh… 1hour ?! We only able to take the Ferris Wheel and then rush back to take the bus heading to next destination again! There got many attractions which we were not given sufficient time to visit.

Destination5: Tokyo Tower [東京タワー]
Given time frame: 1hour

Speechless!!! Tired!! Up to the tower, we just simply took some pictures of Tokyo night view. My digital camera is not able to take sharp and clear picture of Tokyo night view.
