Waiting for Rapid Airport train. Please check for the earliest and last train to plan for your daily tour to Otaru to avoid you missed the last train.

hokkaido-day6-02
Journey started !! ☺

hokkaido-day6-03
Reached Otaru !!!

hokkaido-day6-04
Walked relaxedly out from the train station

hokkaido-day6-05
Otaru signboard taken in train station
hokkaido-day6-06
We are there!! Otaru! By foot departed from Otaru Station, all the way to Minami Otaru Station.

hokkaido-day6-07
Former Temiya National Railway Line

hokkaido-day6-08
Is not for displayed purposed. You can pay to ride on it.

hokkaido-day6-09
Too bad, it is not the season for king crab.

hokkaido-day6-10
I recommend you not to try this one. Try the white sweet corn for which I am going to update in my later post.

hokkaido-day6-11
Remember to try scallop in Hokkaido! They are specially BIGGER & JUICY a lot more than what you can find in Malaysia with CHEAPER price.

hokkaido-day6-12
We found many school children buy the fruits in this store. Yes, it is much cheaper compare to the other place that your tour agent took you to!

hokkaido-day6-13
Melon sold in this store is cheaper ¥100 ~ ¥150 compare to the melon sold in farm that we visited to.

hokkaido-day6-14
Cake is a MUST TRY dessert in Hokkaido. They got more variety and taste for you to choose from.

Canal Plaza
hokkaido-day6-15
School children heading to Canal Plaza lead by teachers. In my school day, we almost have zero chance to be like that ☹ What a boring education system I got. I don’t recommend you to buy the souvenir in this plaza as I figure out that it is much expensive compare to the outer store that you can found.

Otaru Canal (小樽運河)
hokkaido-day6-16
Otaru Canal signboard. We have no idea that we just reached Otaru Canal until we noticed this signboard. I thought, huh?! This “longkang” so famous arr??!! How come Japan can make it as tourist spot while our country can’t?! Malaysia also have many “longkang” like this. Sorry, I don’t mean to tease like this.

hokkaido-day6-18
Of course it has it’s own history which they treasure and proud of. The wall have the photos how the canal operated in the past.

Is quite relaxing with the fine weather and environment.

hokkaido-day6-22
If you come with tour, I don’t think you have chance to walk relaxedly here.

hokkaido-day6-23
Tour agent will drop you here with an hour to take photos then heading for your lunch.

hokkaido-day6-24
As we met with few tours and noticed that the tourists don’t have chance to walk around to enjoy the environment and it is always RUSH for next destination.

hokkaido-day6-25
This is why I choose for free and easy even though my Japanese language is limited as well.

hokkaido-day6-26
There are many pretty flora decorated along the walkway which makes you smile while walking along.

hokkaido-day6-27
Our lunch ☺ Well, taste salty but I like it! Is not what you all thought that expensive but I forgotten how much it cost.

hokkaido-day6-28
Scallops ☺

Kitaichi Glass (北一硝子)
hokkaido-day6-31
What a relaxing day~~ There are many glass shop along the way.

hokkaido-day6-32
I just recovered from flu and cough while getting to Hokkaido. I have bad cough inside the glass shop, so I simply have a round of walk in the shop and walked out as I cough much and I’m afraid the glass will break ☹ as it is too expensive for me to pay for it.

hokkaido-day6-33
Artistic

hokkaido-day6-34
What a great view!

hokkaido-day6-35

hokkaido-day6-36
Each of the item ¥1,050 also expensive for me 😛

hokkaido-day6-42

hokkaido-day6-44
No idea but it looks like butterflies ☺

hokkaido-day6-45
Took Rapid Airport train from Minami Otaru station back to Sapporo Station. Bought our dinner in ESTA and bring back to Hotel. Though to have a glass of cold Sapporo beer but stop by my sis ☹ as she afraid I can’t lead her back to hotel after then.
